I Hope I was There

I feel sad thisday, because this is our schedule for the final exam.

I can't make it, Because I'm still lying on bed, in pain and enjoying my baby's presence. Though I really want to take the exam, there's no possibilty to make it. Of course its understandable,.

By the way, Thank You sir for all the knowledge I got from you. The stress free discussion and very light lecture. Above All, the smile you shared with us.

This is my Special Day

I gave birth to Samantha Joy Mangapot on October 17, 2010, 12:15 am at Nazareth General Hospital, Dagupan City. It is again a fulfilling feeling in my part, our little angel is so cute and very innocent. My husband is also very proud and happy. Everbody in our family is hapy to see her. Unfotunately, Bagyong Juana is alrady in Philipines Territory, so after 24 hours of staying at the hospital, we decided to go home.

I hope sir tagudin will giveme consideration by taking my fian exam soon, with no inc grade. thanks sir.

Interactive Presentation

Wow! I really appreaciate our discussion and lecture today, everything is new to me, especailly the interactive presentation.

Sir Tagudin's lecture is very clear and interesting, this is one of the most interesting topics we had. He had some examples and he even called some students to ty it infront. Aside from the interactive presentation, he also discussed the simplier version, uing the hyperlink. Its easier than the interactive presentation because you did not need to use programming, because in the interactive presentation you need to use some programming. I really did enjoy this day, with sir tagudin's discussion I've learned a lot.

y theway, I again I talked to sir regarding my situation, I lready feel that my baby wans to come out inside my tummy.hehehe. Still sir refused to give me consderation.. I hope , he will change his mind..

After Two Weeks...

After Two weeks that we did not meet and see each other because of sir's personal reason and because of the seminar that almost all students of graduate school had attended. I really miss my subject because of the very light discussins and stress free lecture.

Unfortunately, we did not have our discussion and lecture becauseof the computer room is still close. We just talked about our requirements and the like. Sir also announced that the final exam is being postponed. Though it's a good news for the others, it's a bad news for me, because itsalready my due date. I asked sir if he will giveme consideration, but unfortunaely, he doesn't like. I hope sir will chage his mind. I really like to take the final exam if not of this very valid reason. I know Sir Tagudin will change his mind..right sir?

Power Point

We learned about Microsoft Power point. Our professor taught us well the basic concepts to key on in making power point presentations. He also gave us some tips to consider in our presentation such as the kind of our audience/client, font and color to use, chosen sounds and pictures should be relevant to topic, the slides are maximize, and text should be readable. Added to this, he further discussed about the design, animation, inserting video clips or pictures.
Though I am already familiar with MS PPt. because I’m using it in doing presentations, in making programs and invitations, But then not totally that I knew all about MS PPt, I still need to be taught more.

Excel

Last week, I learned a lot from our lesson MS Excell. Though I’m familiar of using it, I could not deny that some of the tools being discussed by prof. tagudin are new to me which makes more interested to listen. Before, I used decrease decimal and increase decimal rather than using round in computing the grades of my students. I also learn how to use the conditional formatting the vlookup and the like, I realized how important these tools are, I don’t even remember that I used them when I’m using the excel. Thank you sir for the new knowledge, I really appreciate it. Computing of grades now is easier for me.

This is what I'm wating for...

Last week, sir Tagudin introduced to us the MS Word 2010..and happy to tell that I am now using the MS Office 2010.

This week, Sir Tagudin continued his discussion regarding MS WORD 2010. He elaborated more on the different bars and tools being featured in MS Word 2010. I'm looking forward in using some of its features.

The thing that I'm waiting for has finally come...the activities that we are going to do/submit in his subject. Well, this is what I really like, application on what we are learning.

I am excited to explore the different tools MS WORD 2010. I hope I can make it.

Microsoft Word 2010

Microsoft Word 2010 was being introduced to us by Prof. Tagudin

He discussed some features and differences of Microsoft Word 2010 from other applications.

I found it interesting because I haven't tried it, it quiet different from 2007 that I'm currently using.

Well, MS WORD 2010 is truly a wonderful innovation and I believe that it doesn't end there.. innovation will still continue.

I'm looking forward for the activities that we will prepare or do using the Microsoft Word 2010.

How to Join the Virtual Community

Alas! I arrived early at school so was our professor. We've learned on how to join the virtual community, when I tried it at home, it was a nice and fun thing to engage with. I'm starting to get addicted with it.
Last week, I joined the compbat group, I'm asking myself why we need to join such group...until Prof. Tagudin discussed its importance. One of the reasons I like most is to lessen our expenses in submitting our activities, like in printing and the like.
Go back with joining the virtual group, sir discussed it briefly, he demonstrated the steps, and cited some mistakes that students usually commit in joining the virtual community. He discussed on how to create folder, add file and create text file. He told us to create our folder inside the folder he created (Student Activities), good for me because I already created it and submitted my url in my folder. Aside from these, he even give some advantages of internet/computer in teaching, like using googgle earth and other softwares which are helpful in teaching our students. That's all for this week....

Orientation Program and Development Forum

O boy! whenever i go to school early, there's no classes....sigh.

I attended the Orientation Program and Development Forum with a theme " Enhancing Educational Leadership: An Imperative to Research Challenge..

The Program was a bit boring (I dont want to be specific why)
though I've learned something, I still hope that next time(this is my third time attending an orientation and forum in PSU) they will organize a much better forum and invite better speakers.

By the way, the emcee is great, she has a very nice and well-modulated voice, I was mesmerized by her voice...
kudos to her..she made the program alive everytime she talks.

Thank You to the organizers for the free snacks..lol

Who's Late Now?

I was embarrased because this time it was me who came to school late. lol

but, at least I still made it, I'm just late by 5 minutes.

Sir discussed some important things to remember in using internet..like the parts, definitions and some other hints.

He also discussed on how to join the yahoo groups. Though until now, I'm still waiting for his invitation..lol.

Our discussions was shorten because of the Academic Council Meeting.

Better Late Than Never

"Better late than never" has become a cliche; but if you are anything like me, there's a good measure of truth in this. here's why...
I'm excited and a bit nervous when I woke up last July 3 because this day was my first day at school, I don't have any idea of what my prof. in comp. 1 looks like. Fortunately, I arrived at PSU on time, I seated myself in a comfortable chair in the attractive lobby. Minutes went by: five- ten- fifteen, and I began to get decidedly impatient. I become more irratated by the minute.
Alas! sir has arrived, the disappointment I feel has vanished in the air, why?Although sir came late, he briefly explained the syllabus and all the requirements we should meet. The best of all was, we spend a 30 MINUTE-QUALITY TIME, by explaining on how to create a blog(with all the details needed).I really appreciate on how sir handled the remaining time. .....that's why better late than never, esp. if you know how to spend your remaining time.
